A Note on Size

The 21cm nursery pot refers to the diameter of the pot, not the height of the plant. As each plant is naturally different, size and fullness may vary slightly from the product image.

Plant Care

Strelitzia ‘Mandela’s Gold’ thrives in a bright position with plenty of sunlight. Indoors, place it near a sunny window where it can receive several hours of light. Water thoroughly during active growth, allowing excess water to drain away, and avoid leaving the roots sitting in water.

This variety can eventually grow into a substantial plant, so allow room for its upright leaves to spread. Protect it from cold temperatures and frost, particularly when grown outdoors. Feed during spring and summer to support healthy growth and flowering. With the right conditions, it can reward you with its unusual golden blooms, although young plants may take time to flower.
