Monstera Thai Constellation 17cm

A favourite among plant collectors, the Monstera Thai Constellation is known for its striking cream and green variegated leaves. Each leaf has its own pattern of speckles, splashes and larger patches of creamy colouring, making every plant unique. As it matures, the leaves develop the familiar splits and holes that give Monsteras their distinctive tropical look.

A beautiful feature plant for a bright room, the Thai Constellation brings plenty of character without needing flowers to make an impression.

A Note on Size

The 17cm nursery pot refers to the diameter of the pot, not the height or spread of the plant. Leaf size, variegation and overall fullness will vary between plants.

Plant Care

The Thai Constellation prefers a warm spot with plenty of bright, indirect light. Good light is particularly important for variegated plants, but avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the creamy sections of the leaves.

Water thoroughly when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry, allowing excess water to drain away. It prefers soil that holds some moisture but is never waterlogged. A chunky, free-draining potting mix is ideal.

As it grows, the Thai Constellation will appreciate a moss pole or sturdy support to climb. Feed with a balanced liquid plant fertiliser during the warmer growing months, reducing feeding during winter.
