Little Sun Cactus

Mammillaria microhelia is a small, characterful cactus with a rounded form and distinctive clusters of spines. Its compact size makes it an easy addition to windowsills, desks, shelves or anywhere you want to bring a little desert-inspired greenery indoors.

Lighting: Bright light to several hours of direct sunlight. A sunny windowsill is ideal.
Toxicity: Generally considered non-toxic, but the spines can cause injury if handled carelessly. Keep away from pets and children.

The 9cm nursery pot refers to the diameter of the pot, not the height of the plant. Each plant is naturally different, so the size, shape and fullness may vary slightly from the product image.

Plant Care

Give your Mammillaria microhelia plenty of bright light and some direct sunlight to keep it healthy and encourage strong growth. If moving it into stronger sunlight, introduce it gradually to avoid scorching.

Allow the potting mix to dry out completely between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away. During cooler or darker months, the plant will need much less water.

Like most cacti, it is much more tolerant of being too dry than too wet, so take care not to overwater.
