Scientific Name: Euphorbia trigona
Nursery Pot Size: Available in 12cm and 17cm
Lighting: Bright, indirect light to several hours of gentle direct sun.
Toxicity: Toxic if ingested. The milky sap can also irritate skin and eyes, so take care when handling and keep away from pets and children.

A Note on Size

The nursery pot size refers to the diameter of the pot the plant is growing in and does not indicate the overall height of the plant. Individual plants can vary in height, shape and fullness.

Plant Care

Allow the soil to dry out well between watering. The African Milk Tree stores water in its stems, so it is much happier being a little too dry than sitting in wet soil.

Give it plenty of bright light and make sure it is planted in a well-draining mix. Take care when watering or moving the plant as the sap can be irritating.

Each African Milk Tree 12cm comes with a pot, ready to enjoy in your home or office. Our 17cm does not come with a pot but we do have pleanty of options. 

We also have Plant Care options including plant food, neem and water meters to help keep your new plant happy and healthy.

Delivery & Pick Up

We offer Auckland-wide delivery for plants. Pick up is also available from our Fort Lane store, Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm.
